OMLNg is dedicated to non-technical persons willing to send Newsletters.
It has been built to answer to this particular problem for some small entreprises that do not have access to mailing-list managers on mail servers.
It is also trying to be very integrated with office softwares (such as Ms Office and OpenOffice), addresse books (such as LDAP, Mozilla, and Outlook), common files formats (XML, CSV) and databases supported by Perl DBI.
The interface aims at simplifying mail related issues such as text encoding and MIME-multipart but also correct exploitation of SMTP protocol to minimise resources consumption.
It is written in Perl using Wx:Perl for GUI.

What OMLNg is not :
OMLNg is not a SPAM tool. As such it DOES NOT, and WONT support SMTP proxies, remote control, multiple sources-address and other use that would allow the user to spam hidding himself.
